Dr. Nicky Ryan is Programme Director Spatial Communication and Contextual & Theoretical Studies at London of College of Communication.
Her research interests include museums and curating, branded, luxury and hybrid spaces, the role of culture in regeneration and contemporary patronage.
Nicky has delivered a range of conference papers and authored publications on the above. She is currently writing a book on patronage for Ashgate and is a regular reviewer for the Museums Journal.
Recent publications include Lobby Living in Performance, Fashion and the Modern Interior: From the Victorians to Today (Berg, 2011) and Patronage in Fashion and Art (Berg, 2012).
